Can I send unlimited messages?

LuxSci permits a maximum of 200,000 messages per month in our shared environment, and we offer dedicated server solutions for clients with greater sending volume requirements. Please see our High Volume Dedicated Servers page or contact LuxSci Sales for more information.

Are any major email providers overly sensitive to bulk email and thus may block your legitimate email?

Yes, we have found in particular that Yahoo!, gmail, and AOL seem more sensitive to bulk email than other providers. When sending to these domains we recommend limiting the rate and number of addresses you send to at each domain so you do not bombard them at once and end up blocked.

Will LuxSci suspend my account for a small number of SPAM compliants?

Generally, no, with a single or handful of complaints we will contact you first for an explanation and rectification if needed (e.g. removal from your list). If we receive a large number of complaints, we may suspend your services without notice pending an investigation.

If I purchased a list of opted-in recipients, can I use High Volume?

No, this is not permitted. Only explicitly opted-in lists are allowed--no purchased lists of any kind or lists of addresses provided to you by a 3rd party at no cost, i.e.: no trade show registrant lists, lists supplied to you as a member of an association, part of a promotion, etc.

If my account is terminated due to violation of our HV AUP, do I get a refund?

No, there is no refund due to violation of our Acceptable Use Policy.

Is there a web-based interface for me to compose and send messages from?

Currently we do not offer this feature, however we have considered adding it in the future.

What email bulk marketing programs are compatible with High Volume?
