However, the number of distinct places that we log into seems to constantly grow. We have to use secure passwords for all of them and should not use the same password for any two of them. Oh ya, we should also change our passwords frequently! Its dizzying and makes your head spin. Few can remember the plethora of changing passwords and, in desperation, either use the same poor password for everything or use written cheat sheets listing all of the user names and passwords for easy reference (and easy peeking by others should they get a hold of it).

If you are like me, then you have a bunch of paper Post- it notes, note pads, and other ways to track your notes and “to do” lists. These lists are not with me everywhere, however. And I have found that using “to do” list software that requires you to go to a special page or run a special program to access the list is also not ideal — especially if that electronic ” to do” list is not immediately available from any computer that I may be using! I just never stick with it.

LuxSci has just updated the interface for managing your workspaces of widgets. Previously, there was an “edit mode” where users could add, delete, and re-arrange widgets. This edit mode has been removed and all edit functions have been merged directly into the normal widget interface, making usage must more fast and natural.
