For customers who wish to add Email Defense premium email filtering or Premium Email Archival to their existing non-LuxSci email services.

For customers who wish to send large amounts of outbound email or who only want services for sending email.

For customers who wish to send large amounts of outbound email as well as full-featured email hosting services.

HIPAA Compliance Required
For customer accounts that will use services in a way that requires HIPAA Compliance for the data stored on LuxSci or passing through LuxSci. A sepatate Business Associate Agreement and Account Restrictions Agreement will be required.
Domains
Number of Domains:
Select the number of domains that you would like to use with our services. If you do not have any of your own domains, select "luxsci.net" to use our domain. Note that if you do not need DNS or domain registration, there is no specific cost for additional domains (only for the users in them).

Register my domain(s) for me.
If you are selecting one or more domains and have not yet registered (purchased) them yet, we can register them for you. This costs $9.99/domain/year. Currently, we can only register .com, .org, .net, .biz, .mobi, and .info domains.
Private registration requested.
With Private Registration, LuxSci will use its own contact information insead of yours in the WHOIS database -- so it will not be possible for anyone to tell who actually owns the domain or obtain your contact information via the public WHOIS database.
LuxSci will provide DNS services for my domains.
LuxSci can provide DNS services for your domain(s); this is in fact required if you get a web hosting account. If you have a non-web hosting account and already have DNS services for your domain(s) that you are satisfied with, you can un-check this box to avoid signing up for DNS with LuxSci. Learn about DNS.
Disk Space For Account
Total Disk Space: GB
Your disk space will be shared among the users of your account. You can, optionally, limit the disk usage of individual users. If your account exceeds its disk space limit, you will not lose any services, but you will be charged for any supplemental space used to cover the excess. Read more about disk space limits. For disk storage amounts above 100GB of space, please contact our sales department about pricing for dedicated servers.

Number of Users: users
We are looking for the total number of users in your account here. Email aliases are free; so, you only need a number of users corresponding to the number of distinct email boxes (i.e. user logins) that you require. The per-user cost is determined by quantity and type of "email services" for which you are signing up.
Email Hosting Services For All Users
All users receive Secure, Modern WebMail services.

  POP & Secure POP
Used for accessing your email from email programs like Outlook and Thunderbird. Typically used when you want to download your email from the server and keep it in your email program.
  IMAP & Secure IMAP
Used for accessing your email from email programs like Outlook and Thunderbird. Typically used when you want to keep your email folders on the server for centralized access and automatic backup.
  SMTP Relaying & Secure SMTP
SMTP services allow you to send email through LuxSci from email clients like Outlook, Thunderbird, and Eudora. You do not need SMTP if you will only send email using WebMail.
Email Filtering Services For All Users
  No Spam or Virus Filtering
Select if you have your own email filtering system that you are happy with, of if you do not need/want any filtering at all.
  Basic Spam & Virus Filtering
Simple but effect filtering using Clam Anti-Virus and SpamAssassin.
  Email Defense "budget version"
Our regular Premium Email Defense service with some spam and virus filters removed so-as to reduce the cost. Still a great service.
  Email Defense "budget version" with Outbound Filtering
Our regular Premium Email Defense service with some spam and virus filters removed so-as to reduce the cost. Also includes outbound email content filtering.
  Email Defense Premium Spam & Virus Filtering
Highly effective and highly configurable premium spam, virus, and email content filtering solution. We recommend this to anyone with their own domain name. Users of luxsci.net are not eligible for this service and must use the "basic" filtering service.
  Email Defense with FailSafe and Outbound Filtering
Our regular Email Defense service with "FailSafe" which will queue messages in the case of inbound server issues and with optional "Outbound" email content filtering included.
  Email Defense with Message Continuity and Outbound Filtering
Our regular Email Defense service with "Message Continuity" which will queue messages and give you Web-based access to them in the case of inbound server issues and with optional "Outbound" email content filtering included.

Web Hosting Services
Web & FTP Bandwidth: GB/month
Your bandwidth is shared among all your web sites and FTP sessions. Email usage does not count towardsyour bandwidth limit. If you exceed this limit, you will not lose services, but you will be charged for any supplemental bandwidth used to cover the excess. 10GB/mo is much more than enough for most web sites. You can add additional MySQL databases at any time, once you have an account.
Use subdomain(s) for your web site.
Web hosting normally requires that LuxSci manage your DNS. If you just need to setup a sub-site (i.e. subdomain), DNS is optional. You can setup a "CNAME" entry in your current regular domain's DNS to point to our web servers.

SSL Certificates:
Dedicated IPs:
SSL certificates are used for secure web site hosting and for secure private labeling with your own domain name(s). For each SSL certificate that you order, you will also need a dedicated IP address.

IP addresses are used for secure web sites, secure WebMail, and secure email. You will need one IP address for every SSL certificate that you will use with LuxSci, even if that certificate is provided by you. NOTE: LuxSci only provides IP addresses for use with SSL; there is no other legitimate use for dedicated IPs with LuxSci's shared hosting servies. So, if you are ordering IP addresses, they will only be made available after they are justified with an SSL configurtaion.

If you order more IPs than SSL certificates, this implies that you will be bringing your own SSL certificates for SSL services on the additional IPs.
