 LuxSci’s Premium Email Archival service offers the storage of an unlimited amount of email that is easily searchable and downloadable.
The period of time that email is retained in the archives is a customer decision. Previously, the options were 1, 3, 5, or 7 years. After that time period, messages auto-expire from the archives.
Now, customers may select from a broader range of retention periods — from as little as 30 days to as long as 10 years.

 LuxSci has reduced the price of WebAide licenses with new accounts and for new upgrades to existing accounts from $1.75/license/month to $1.50/license/month.
WebAide licenses will be available for only $0.50/license/month if bundled with Basic or Premium Mobile Sync licenses. This bundle offer will be available in January, 2011, when the Mobile Sync service emerges from Beta testing status. LuxSci accounts are eligible to beta test Mobile Sync by Contacting Sales.

 McAfee, LuxSci’s partner in providing Premium Email Filtering and Premium Email Archival, has reduced some of its prices for Email Archival. LuxSci is able to pass these savings on to new customers. Customers with existing archival contracts with LuxSci can opt for a new contract and changed pricing by contacting LuxSci Support.

 Starting June 1st, 2009, LuxSci will change the way that it determines monthly disk space usage. Going forward, an account’s monthly disk space usage will be its “peak disk space usage” — i.e. the maximum disk space used during the month.
If an account’s peak usage exceeds its purchased disk space limit, the account will automatically use “supplemental disk space” to make up the difference with no noticeable change for users. Supplemental disk space is a convenience that costs 150% of what the same disk space would cost if planned for and purchased ahead of time.
