Updated Acceptable Use Policy
LuxSci has updated its Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) for all customers. This change supersedes the previous AUP for all existing LuxSci customers that do not have a custom AUP agreement with LuxSci.
The new AUP in an improvement over the old AUP in many ways. Some of these include:
- Merging separate High Volume Acceptable Use Policy into the standard Acceptable Use Policy, so now there is one policy that governs all customers and services.
- The organization and language of the AUP have been cleaned up and revised.
- The terms and wording have been updated to be consistent with our revised Master Services Agreement and Service Level Agreement.
- There is now a section that prohibits use of LuxSci services for “High Risk” situations: Customer shall not use the Services in any situation where failure or fault of the Services could lead to death or serious bodily injury of any person, or to physical or environmental damage (including in connection with aircraft, motor vehicles, or other modes of human mass transportation, or nuclear or chemical facilities).
Please contact LuxSci support if you have any questions.
