Feature Included
Blog Widgets
Users can use customizable Blog Widgets to display and interact with simplified views of their recent Blog entries on their Workspaces.
Notifications of New Posts
Optionally, users can have emailed notices of new posts sent to all subscribers of a Blogs WebAide. These notices can contain summary or full post content.
HTML Markup of Posts
Blog posts support arbitrary HTML-formatting. A visual editor for entering and creating and editing them is included.
Comment on Blog Posts
You can make HTML-formatted comments on any post. Each post can have any number of comments created by any number of permitted users. These comments can also contain file attachments and be encrypted, if you have a license.
Audit Changes to Entries
Optionally enable WebAide Auditing. This will record add and edits of entries, adds, edits, and deletions of comments, and downloads of attachments. Anyone with read access to the WebAide can then view the audit trail for each entry. Note that the audit trail does not record the actual content of the changes, just who made what kind of change and when.
Export: XML, CSV, RSS, WXR, ZIP
Export some or all of your Blog posts into XML, CSV, WXR (Wordpress), or RSS files. Export the file attachments for these entries as a ZIP file. (Note that encrypted file content cannot be exported in this way).
Import: CSV, RSS, WXR
Import posts from CSV, RSS 2.0, or WXR (Wordpress Extended RSS) files.
Access Blog via Public RSS URL
Users can publish any Blog as a "Public RSS v2.0 File". This allows anyone or any program that has Internet access to download a full or summary view of the content, from all or the most recent posts in the Blog WebAide, using this special URL. This "public" access to your data is optional and off by default. If enabled, it can be password-protected, accessed over SSL, and access-restricted by IP.
PGP Encryption of Posts & Files (with per-entry access control)
All files are already encrypted at rest using AES. You can choose to add a second layer of encryption for these files and also encrypt your blog post content using PGP. Users can create their own personal PGP security certificates using our security tools and then they can easily create PGP-encrypted posts. Supports the specification of exactly who will be allowed to decrypt the posts on a per-post basis, and verification of digital signatures on all encrypted content. Posts encrypted via PGP are very secure. Even the technical staff cannot access their content without access to your PGP key password (which is never saved in plain text on our servers).
Inbound Email: Auto-Create Blog Posts from Email
Create custom email filters to automatically save the content and attachments from inbound email messages directly to your Blogs as new posts. You can attach any number of files up to 200 MB each to your posts.
