Control for Your Email Distribution Lists

We have previously discussed the various options for email distribution lists in our post: Three Kinds of Distribution Lists. However, we are often asked how to make distribution lists with special properties, such as:

Only people who belong to the list can send to the list
Have messages sent to the list be spam filtered
Only forward messages with certain content in them to the list
Block messages from certain people or with certain content in them
Add custom headers to messages sent to the list
Etc. – the list goes on

These are all very doable at LuxSci by using a “4th” way of making a distribution list — using custom email filters.

Bounce Analysis for High Volume Outbound Email Service

Users of LuxSci’s High Volume Outbound Email Service send thousands of messages to opt-in distribution lists of clients and subscribers. However, as with any bulk mailing, there are always permanent failure bounces due to addresses that are no longer valid or other issues. Usually, managing these bounces is somewhat of a challenge; however, prompt removal of invalid email messages is one requirement of good netiquette when sending bulk mailings.

New Feature: High Volume Outbound Email Service

High Volume Email We have seen a steadily growing demand from existing and potential clients to send legitimate bulk mailings to their clients and subscribers. LuxSci’s policy has always been to deny such requests and pass them along to a strategic partner, or to allow them on a case by case basis at a premium cost after carefully reviewing the intent. Why? So that the outbound email servers used by our premium customers do not get on blacklists. You don’t want to mix mass mailing with normal business correspondence!
