Calendar, Address Book, and WebMail Updates

Published: November 11th, 2008

LuxSci has released several minor changes to calendars, address books, and WebMail.  These include:

Calendars Updates

  • Users can now include "show time as" and "priority" as sortable columns in the list view of calendars.
  • Users can now access the import, export, and sharing WebAide properties directly from the "Calendars" submenu.  This makes it much more obvious to end users how to perform these actions.

Address Book Updates

  • Users can now access the import, export, and sharing WebAide properties directly from the "Address Books" submenu.  This makes it much more obvious to end users how to perform these actions.

WebMail Updates

  • Users can now access the export, and sharing folder properties directly from the "Folders" submenu.  This makes it much more obvious to end users how to perform these actions.

Other Updates

  • Users can now choose "Address Book" and "Calendar" as optional pages to go directly to when they login to WebMail
  • Account administrators can now configure their private labeled themes to send users directly to their "Address Book" or "Calendar" pages by default.  Users can always override this in their preferences.
  • Account administrators can now use a new markup tag to insert the content of any RSS feed into their WebMail "Welcome" page.  These RSS feeds are cached and polled at a configurable interval.  The cached versions are used in the case that the connection to the RSS feed fails.
  • A new disk usage report "Usage by Domain" gives the aggregate disk space usage for all users in all domains that an administrator has permission to manage.
