Updated SLA, AUP, and Privacy Policies

Published: August 24th, 2009

LuxSci has recently updated its Dedicated Hosting Service Level Agreement, Acceptable Use Policies, and Confidentiality/Non-disclosure agreements.  The revised versions are posted in the LuxSci Legal area.

The changes correspond to the introduction of new Basic Dedicated and Cloud Dedicated server offerings.  In order to consistently and transparently reflect the underlying AUPs and Terms of Service imposed by our Server Providers partners, (RackSpace, Peer1, and ServerBeach), policy revision were necessary.

The most salient changes are:

  • Separate sections in the Dedicated SLA for the hardware replacement guarantee for Cloud and Basic Dedicated Servers.
  • Separate Acceptable Use Policy sections for Shared, Basic Dedicated, Premium Dedicated, and Cloud Hosting Customers.
  • A slightly more relaxed non-disclosure policy that allows releasing information at the written request of a law enforcement agency without necessity to notify the Customer of this disclosure.
